however, exists pointing to a possible shoot down of that plane. <BR>. =

most important thing to consider is the timeline of the attacks. There =
may have=20
been confusion after the first plane hit the first World Trade Center =
tower=20
since many people thought this could have been an accident. The first =
absolutely=20
clear indication that a terrorist attack was underway was when the =
second plane=20
hit the second tower at 9:06am September 11th. <BR>. <BR>Passengers with =
cell=20
phones and the "air phones" build into seatbacks had made numerous calls =
to the=20
ground, which should have alerted authorities to the danger even earlier =
than=20
the crash of the first or second plane. The planes had taken off as =
early as=20
7:59 am, and the planes were hijacked perhaps only a few minutes after =
take off.=20
<BR>. <BR>Surprisingly, the terrorists were able to crash a third plane =
into the=20
Pentagon at 9:43am, thirty-seven minutes after both World Trade Center =
towers=20
had been hit. This should have been more than enough time to scramble =
jets to=20
protect the D.C. area, or to give orders to an air defense battery (if =
any were=20
deployed in the D.C. area) to prepare to shoot down a plane. Clearly, no =
one had=20
bothered to come up with a plan to prevent such an attack. Perhaps, if =
our=20
Federal Government spent less time spying on law-abiding Americans in =
far right=20
political organizations and the militia movement, they might have been =
prepared=20
for an attack such as the September 11th one. <BR>. <BR>There is =
absolutely no=20
reason why anti-aircraft missiles could not be positioned around the =
Pentagon=20
(and the entire Washington D.C. area) to shoot down hijacked planes. =
When=20
Clinton was President, someone flew a light airplane into the White =
House.=20
Apparently, nothing was done even after that attack to increase =
security. <BR>.=20
<BR>Arab terrorists had been caught in an attempt to crash a plane full =
of fuel=20
into the Eiffel Tower several years ago. A report about a plot by =
radical=20
Moslems to stage an attack with planes loaded with fuel targeting the =
World=20
Trade Center was in the hands of the CIA in 1993, but was largely =
ignored. As if=20
this isn't bad enough, a think tank was hired to predict what sort of =
attack=20
terrorists might launch on the U.S. The think tank predicted a plane =
full of=20
fuel being flown into the World Trade Center. This prediction also was =
ignored,=20
and the authors were not allowed to publish the report for fear of =
alarming the=20
public. <BR>. <BR>It seems likely that the third plane was able to crash =
into=20
the Pentagon mainly because of a shocking lack of preparation. The =
fourth plane,=20
however, was trailing the third plane by almost forty minutes, giving =
our=20
military plenty of reaction time. The story of the fourth plane and what =
exactly=20
happened to it has apparently been covered up. <BR>. <BR>A very =
compelling=20
argument has been made that the fourth plane was shot down by U.S. =
fighters and=20
that our government has covered this up. Wreckage, bodies, and an intact =
engine=20
were found a significant distance from where the plane crashed into the =
ground=20
suggesting that a missile severely damaged the plane causing this debris =
to fall=20
away from the plane. <BR>. <BR>The last cell phone call at 9:58am from =
Flight 93=20
claimed that an explosion occurred. All cell phone calls stopped after =
that, and=20
Flight 93 crashed into the ground eight minutes later. Most likely, the =
plane=20
was hit by a missile and decompressed, or all communications from the =
plane may=20
have been jammed by military planes in the near vicinity of Flight 93. =
An F16=20
was seen to be in the immediate vicinity of Flight 93 by air traffic=20
controllers, and a mysterious white "business jet" was also flying very =
near=20
Flight 93 before it crashed. <BR>. <BR>The fact that Flight 93 crashed =
into an=20
empty field only fifteen minutes away from Washington, D.C. suggests =
that the=20
plane may have been deliberately shot down at that specific location to =
avoid=20
additional casualties on the ground. The passengers were probably =
rushing the=20
cockpit at the same time that Flight 93 was struck with a missile. <BR>. =

<BR><FONT size=3D4><B>Epilogue</B></FONT> <BR>. <BR>Assuming the FBI and =
CIA were=20
highly competent, they would have taken the danger of terrorist =
hijackings=20
seriously and taken steps, which could have prevented a successful =
terrorist=20
attack. In fact several steps could have been taken that would have =
foiled the=20
attack: <BR>. <BR>1).The pilot and co-pilot could have been armed. This =
should=20
have been done after the rash of hijackings in the 1970s, but our =
Federal=20
government opposes letting ordinary Americans defend themselves in =
public with=20
guns. <BR>. <BR>2).Anti-aircraft missiles and radar could have been =
positioned=20
on top of our tallest skyscrapers. These buildings are worth billions of =

dollars, and tens of thousands of people can occupy the largest high =
rise=20
building. American taxpayers have paid for these missiles and the =
soldiers=20
trained to use them, and they don't do us any good sitting in an armory. =
At=20
least, some of these missiles and the soldiers, who operate them, could =
be=20
deployed to defend our high rise buildings and national monuments. <BR>. =

could notify authorities immediately if they have been hijacked. This =

allow the greatest possible reaction time to foil a terrorist attack. =

threat not long after Airliner 2 crashed (9:02am). They had given the OK =

around 9:15 according to Cheney in the Meet the Press interview, but the =
